Sammie is one of those dogs that come into rescue and break your heart. He is approximately 10 or 11 years old and a mix of Dalmatian, Australian Shepherd and possibly American Cattle Dog. He is a neutered male, housetrained, good with other dogs and cats and great with kids. So, why is he in rescue? Because Sammie is a dog that was very much neglected these past few months. He came to rescue when authorities discovered the horrible conditions he was living in and forced his owner to give him up. In spite of what he's been through, Sammie remains a happy-go-lucky boy who loves people and responds immediately to love and attention. He's in excellent health, has been brought up to date on all vaccinations and microchipped. All Sammie needs is a loving home for the rest of his life.
