Sam ADOPTED

Hi - my name is Sam and I am very excited to meet you. You see, I'm a really happy red-headed boy just looking for someone to have some fun with. Most people I meet ask me how old I am - I guess it's because I have this distinguished gray hair on my face? True, I'm not a young pup anymore (despite the fact that at 50 lbs. I am pretty small). My best guess is that I'm around 9 years old, but that doesn't really mean anything to me at all - I have loads of energy and absolutely love going on long walks. And if I see one of those fuzzy-tailed bunnies...it's off to the races! Well, at least until I hear my name called...I always make sure I come back right away...

My foster mom is always bragging about how cute (I'd prefer handsome) and smart I am. She also tells me that I have excellent house manners that any human would appreciate. I do love making my foster mom and dad happy - I love to follow them around the house with my "goofy" smile, and going on rides in the car to keep them company. I also make a point of nosing them quite often with my snoot to let them know just how much I care. It's a lot of fun here, but I really dream that someday I will be able to find my very own forever home. There's a lot of adventures to be had, and I love meeting new people (and other dogs)!
