Saint is a male adult labrador retriever weighing 62 lbs. He is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio after he was rescued by a Good Samaritan on McCullough Avenue during Fiesta Week. Saint had been struck by a car and injured ... not severely, though ... he has now recovered completely from his ordeal. An exhaustive search for an owner was unsuccessful.
Saint had obviously been someone's pet, as he has impeccable manners and personality. He is 100% housebroken. He is heartworm positive, though, so SNIPSA is treating Saint for this and he will be fine. Heatworm treatment does NOT impact the future health of a dog!
Saint is very comfortable around adults, teenagers and children. Saint's foster family say that he has absolutely NO bad habits or behaviors. He is gentle-natured, quiet and an easy-keeper; however, he does not do well with other dogs and he has not been cat-tested. He would probably do best as an "only pet". Saint is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped.
