Sahara is 17 weeks old in these pictures taken April 24, 2009. She and her 7 other siblings: Alma, Dublin, Etna, Madrid, Paris, Sweden, and Vegas, were born on December 26, 2008. Her mom, and her 6 other siblings are adopted. Brandy is a good mom and is very gentle with the pups. We think the pups will grow to be between 25 - 35 pounds.
Right now the pups are learning about all that is new in the world and trying to figure out who they are. Some of them are more outgoing than others and some are quiet.
UPDATE from Foster mom - March 20, 2009: Sahara is now 12 weeks old and is doing super. She currently weighs 9.5 pounds. Sahara loves to play and she's getting really good at fetch. She's learning how to walk on a leash and she enjoys walking around the neighborhood and meeting new people and other dogs.
NOTE: The pups are in a foster home. NOT at the shelter. A completed application is required before an appointment will be made to see them. Thank you for understanding.
