Sadie and Abigail are two lab mixes approximately 8 months old who we believe are sisters. They were being put out onto the street to fend for themselves within blocks of one of our spay/neuter events because their owner, when confronted, stated he "no longer wants them." Our volunteers immediately wrangled them to safety and they are now being fostered at a lovely but temporary home. The larger girl, Abigail, weighs 57lbs. while Sadie is 42lbs. In the short time they have been with us, these sisters appear healthy and are extremely sweet, trainable, house-broken and well-socialized as they are being fostered with several other dogs.
