Sadie

Update: Sadie was adopted 5/29/2010 Sadie is a four-year-old spayed female that is gentle and affectionate, but easily scared by new people who approach her quickly or loudly. She loves people and was good with the children in her former family. They could snuggle with her and pet her, and she was fine with that. She ignores the cats in her foster family, but is afraid of other dogs. Her former family tried to keep her away from other dogs, so she hasn't been socialized with them. She has been obedience trained to a point, so she knows sit and down, and she comes when called, but she pulls hard on a leash. She wants to please her people, so she probably could be taught to walk better on a leash or would do well with a Gentle Leader. Sadie would do well with a quiet family where she could learn to trust people not to hurt her or yell at her, and a fenced-in yard would be a bonus.
