Rye

Rye is a 9 week old lab mix puppy that is from a litter of 7 that were saved from downstate Illinois. She is so sweet and loving, she is the first one to say hi and give kisses. She is outgoing and very brave, she is always right behind her brother Diesel in new adventures around the house, while her other sisters and brothers are following right behind them. She is very playful and does great with other dogs, even one that is 100 pounds bigger than her! She also loves to be held and cuddle and will snuggle right into your lap and take a nap. She likes to watch everything you do and wants to be a part of it. Her favorite treat is cheese slices and she hates hotdogs. We are working on potty training and she seems to understand the idea of it so far. She is great with kids and new people and is not shy in the least bit.

ADOPTION FEE: $325.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative.

ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org.
Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
