Hi, my name is Rusty. No one can believe it, but I'm reported to be 12 yrs. old. At my foster home I'm wagging and having the best time ever with my two foster dog friends. I play and play and have such a good time.
I'm very comfortable around people, even new ones. but I can be a bit shy. My foster mom hangs out with me on my dog bed and we watch TV together. I'm just darling when I lay my head on her chest when we cuddle up together. I'm quite the lovable, cuddly fellow for sure. A cat-free home would be best for me unless the cat has a really good pair of running shoes. I do best in a mellow entironment where there isn't too much commotion or loud noise. I'm a laid-back kind of guy at home. Oh, and walks are divine! I'm great on leash and trot along just like a 4-year-old (but with no pulling). As my foster mom says, “Rusty is so darn cute!”
It's hard to find yourself alone when you're not a youngster anymore, but I'm adjusting very well to my new surroundings. I have an optimistic attitude and just can't wait to find my new forever home. Why don't you come by for a visit soon? Just thinking about it makes my tail do a happy wag!
