Rusty

Rusty was slowly dying living in the country while he had a rope embedded in his neck almost a year. The infection was killing him. A whole community who love him tried to catch him but he's street smart. Animal control tranquilizer him and missed so that threw him back. When we got out there we saved him on day 4. He would travel 7 square miles. He had one great girl keeping an eye on him trying to get him safe. He's such a joy. He uses the doggy door to our washroom. He loves to sleep and sunbathe. He doesn't like snuggles too much. He's obsessed with food after being starving. He plays with me and he's so adorable when he hops and chomps. He's not really interested in people when we take him out. He seems sad like eeyore but I assure you he's happy. When we feed the others on the property he barks and yells at us. He's very clumsy and has arthritis in his back end from walking so much. When he gets so excited he stumbles because his hips. He walks like a cowboy.
