6/13/07: Runt has been neutered and is ready to come home! ACT FAST! Runt doesn't want to hang around here much longer and he probably won't be! Runt is a bit gimpy on one of his back legs and we are unsure of the reason...he has received an exam from the vet and nothing noted regarding his leg. It does not appear to bother him or affect his movement...he is still able to run, play and do all of the things other pups his age do. Runt is one of Sabrina's babies. He is estimated to be about 7 weeks old so he won't be able to go home for at least another week or so. We have dewormed Runt once so far. He will still need to be neutered and will get his first puppy shots soon. Runt and his siblings have had a rough start in life and are hopeful that their luck is going to change and a loving family can be found. Runt's mom is a dachshund(listed on this site) but we are unsure about what dad was. He should be small to medium in size when full grown.
