Rugby (New Update!)

New Update!!!!!! Please note that we always check vet references. This sweet guy is " Rugby Brown." Rugby is approximately years old and is an active guy. Rugby loves to snuggle, play fetch (his current most favorite toy ever is his squeaky orange frisbee disc!), go for walks, and play with the other dogs in his foster home. Rugby has completed a 6 week basic obedience course and has mastered his sit and short term stay command. He really enjoys the bond training gives him with his person (and the treats are pretty great too he says!) Rugby needs time to get comfortable in new situations and is pretty timid about new experiences. He needs a family that will be committed to helping him conitnue to build his confidence and give him time to get used to new experiences. Once comfortable, he is a loving, playful, snuggly, young dog that loves his people and dog friends. Rugby could be an only dog or would also do well in a home with another confident, playful dog (he does prefer that his male dog friends be his size or smaller). He loves playing chase and wrestling with his foster friends. He has become fast friends with adoptable Cedar while in foster together. These two boys love to hang out together, play, walk, and snuggle. We think Rugby would do best with older children. Rugby does enjoy chasing the cats in his foster home (although he is not agressive towards them), so we do think he would do best in a home without cats, but would be open to a home with a dog saavy cat.
