Rufus

Rufus came into rescue when his elderly owner passed away.

Rufus is approximately 9 years old. He is a little bit shy and does not like to be grabbed suddenly, but he would do alright with older dog-respecting children. He should not be in a home with cats. He is very affectionate & loyal. He also has excellent car manners and is very well-behaved on leash. Rufus LOVES playing ball ! He is up to date on vaccinations and has recently had a full scale dental. He has terrific teeth and is in great shape.

Don't be fooled by the photos! Although Rufus doesn't mind being a couch potato, he also spends hours every day wrestling & running with his foster buddy Ki and he loves going hiking. Rufus says: I am NOT old, I am MATURE !

Rufus would make an ideal pet for an older couple. He is low care, low maintenance and has terrific manners.

Rufus is located in Portland, Oregon. His adoption fee is negotiable to the right home.
