Transferred to American Cocker Spaniel Rescue, thank you Terri, in Spanaway, WA.! This is a Petfinder.com listing Rescue, please look them up if you are looking for this dog or another like him! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~IN 2-3-09. Transfer over from an overcrowed no-kill shelter in Spokane. He was seized from an abusive/neglectful owner. She wasn't very kind to this dog. Mostly had him for a "yard" ornament. He has lived outside his whole life. He came into the shelter with horribly matted fur, it all had to be shaved to the skin. He had infected eyes, and ears, all cleared up now... He is going to need to be housebroken, but he's smart, and very sweet and willing to learn. He has never been around another dog, lived his whole life in the confines of that backyard fence. He is doing well with them as long as food, or chew bones are no where around. He'll need time to adjust to "real" life. We are currently out of foster homes, so this boy is staying in our boarding kennel until such time as a foster or forever home is found for him.
