Hi! My name is Rudolph, Rudy for short. I got myself lost one day and was rescued by CARES when my time was up. What does that mean, exactly? I have been in rescue since 12/2008. I love my rescuers, but I would really like to be in a home where I can love and be loved forever! I am about 3 years old, weigh about 70# and my mom says I am a perfect boy! I guess being big, black, and a boy make it hard to find me a home, is that true?
I am crate trained, house trained, and I get along well with other dogs, cats and children. My mom says I am just a typical Labrador who is smart, loyal and wants to please. I will do anything for a treat!
I love to snuggle right next to you on the couch. I rarely bark, I love my toys and I do enjoy being outside. I will make any family a great companion!
I will give you a "High 5" when we meet! I also know SIT, SHAKE, WAIT, OFF, DOWN. I love to go for walks, and I walk perfectly with a Gentle Leader. Please give me a forever home! I won't let you down!

This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies (if over 4 months old), Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, Heartguard medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, a Gentle Leader headcollar , and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application.
