RUBY ROO Ruby Roo is one of the latest beauty queen doberladies to join IDR Plus. Check out her pictures and you will notice her stunning good looks. She is quite the dainty, long-legged gal!! Ruby is approximately 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. She has a sad story to tell of her past as she was abandoned in an apartment with her cat sibling around Christmas 2004 with no food or water or anyone checking in on them. The apartment complex residents called the humane society to say a dog was barking at night. Ruby is good with cats and dogs, but like any gal meeting a new four-legged friend, she needs a slow introduction. She is also does very well with kids and loves to snuggle on the couch with her human foster brothers. She is crate trained, and is quiet as a mouse in her crate at night. She is very protective of her home so she is always on the alert for anything that passes by and will loudly let you know when she spots something, so she wouldn't be a good match for someone who lives in an apartment or condo. She loves to run like the wind and definitely needs a big fenced in yard to play her favorite games, tug of war and fetch with a rope toy. She is initially shy of strangers but after a few minutes she warms right up. Ruby is the sweetest girl and when shes happy her whole body wiggles! For more information please email [email protected]
