Ruby

Kids - unknown, can be timid would recommend no kids at this time Dogs - well matched, has had limited interaction with a friendly male Cats - unknown Special Needs - experienced home, not for first time owner Please disregard Ruby's serious face, when she's focused on a treat that's all she can see! Sweet Ruby arrived at the shelter very scared and underweight, and no one came forward for her. It appears that she may have had at least one litter of puppies, but is now spayed so her mommy days are over. Ruby feels most comfortable around women and can be unsure around men. We're working on making sure that her interactions with men are positive and we're seeing her improve! Ruby would do best in a dog savvy home that can continue with her socializing and working on her basic commands and manners. Ruby is very food motivated and wants to please her human friends. Ruby met a social male dog and did well, she would need to be well matched if there is another dog in the home. Ruby is still gaining weight but looks much better than when she arrived.
