Royce

Hi, I’m a 50+ pound Bulldog and Pit bull terrier mix named Royce, as in Rolls-Royce. But don’t let my name or good looks fool you. I’m not at all pretentious! I’m a good old country boy at heart and better suited for Jeeps and trucks. Like any good country fella, I love the outdoors: walking or even running! I’m still getting used to the leash, so I pull sometimes in my excitement. But so far, I’m loving helping my foster mama get in her morning exercise. I also love chasing bubbles and balls! I’m house trained and crate trained, and am adjusting to indoor living. I’m also slowly getting to know my foster siblings as I can be highly reactive, so for now being an only dog is preferred (but not required). I wouldn’t do well in a home with cats or bunnies though, because I love chasing small furry critters! I’m a hunter with a strong prey drive. I do well in the car and hope to be long-haul truck tested soon! Same with the kiddos. Currently, I’m enjoying 2 square meals a day and a soft bed. I would love a home with a fenced yard (or a runner!) and an active family or individual who wants to continue working with me. I am a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program. I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I've learned! My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
