ROXIE

My name is Roxie and I have recently arrived at Houston Boxer rescue after my Mom was deployed to Afghanistan for the military.  She had to give me and my Boxer sister, Shae, up since there was no family to take care of us while she served our country.  We would love to go to our forever home together, but understand that this may not be able to happen.

 I am 6 months old and a playful, loving puppy.  My foster dad says I am very smart.  I learned to sit for treats and meals in just a few days.  I also learned how to work the doggie door in only one day!!!  My foster dad also says I am very pretty with beautiful markings! 

I am crate trained, but would rather run and play in the yard with Shae and my foster brother and sister.  So, I am great with other dogs, not sure about cats yet.   When not running in the yard, all I want to do is lie at my foster parents feet, or even better get up in their lap. 

I am very friendly and was around kids with my first family.  I am learning house training and learning to walk nicely on the leash.  I have lots of love and puppy kisses to give!
