You should have seen me trying to get that cute picture of Rowdy sitting on top of his dog house. How adorable is that photo? Every time I'd aim the camera toward Rowdy, he would jump down and run toward me to greet me with a big sloppy kiss to my camera lens. Talk about a close-up! He is a very friendly and affectionate fella who longs for attention and human companionship. I was determined to get that photo, so I finally stood there nonchalantly, pretending to be busy with other things...... you know..........studying my fingernails, watching clouds pass by........ watching and waiting for the right opportunity. It took a while, but it was worth it! Rowdy came to the shelter in September of 2007 at the age of 10 months. His previous caretaker told us that he had just gotten too large. Hopefully, these same people do not have any human children that are in the middle of a growing spree. You have to admit that Rowdy is a doll, right? Come meet this great doggie today.
