Isn’t she the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? Rosie is a 5-month-old purebred Redbone Coonhound. Her coat is a gorgeous, shiny deep red color. She was an owner surrender because their other dog really didn’t like Rosie and was making her life miserable. She’s not miserable anymore!

Rosie is so sweet and loveable. She loves to play with other dogs and cats. She can be quite vocal when she is playing with other dogs. She will cuddle in your lap or just snooze on the nearest floor pillow.

Rosie, as with any other hound, will require a fenced-in yard because they follow their noses and will be gone in an instant if they are on a scent. We are working on her potty training. She is doing pretty good. She is crate trained and actually loves her crate, so that will be an easy transition for her new home.

She is learning to play fetch. She loves to chew on rawhides and tug toys.

This dog's adoption fee is $300 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
