Rosie

Rosie is a 4-year-old lab pitbull mix! She has been with 3 Acres Rescue for a while now. This poor girl has been through a lot. She was picked up as a stray in the city and was completely emaciated. She was then adopted from that same shelter and returned later due to no fault of her own. Her previous owner got into a fight with a relative and Rosie bit the relative trying to protect the owner and was surrendered back to the same shelter. She was adopted by another family and they kept her locked in the basement. Rosie tends to get excited and like a puppy, will put her teeth on you. She was then returned to the same shelter where she ended up on the euthanasia list. That is when she came to us. Rosie is dog and people selective. She would do best in a home without another dog. She needs a home that doesn't have a lot of other people coming and going and no children. With her foster parents, Rosie is their best friend. She plays, runs and will do anything they ask her to! Rosie knows basic commands and is crate trained. She is extremely food motivated but is selective about the people she trusts due to her past.
