Rosie / F / 4Y / 30lbs / Mixed breed / Fosters in Owen Sound Dream dog alert! Rosie is a quiet, chill girl who loves to sunbathe on the deck or lounge on the couch. Her foster mom says she is the perfect couch potato buddy, and she loves a calm, relaxed environment. Her favourite thing about Rosie is that her tongue is often sticking out. She takes on all new challenges slowly & cautiously, but is working on being brave! Rosie does well in her crate and will happily sleep in it throughout the night - though she would always prefer to be in a plushy bed. She’s an excellent leash walker at a nice slow pace, and her foster says she shows interest in passing dogs and rabbits but never pulls. She is low energy, so her foster says two or three short walks a day keep her satisfied, though her foster notes she likes a bit of a stroll before she does her business. She doesn’t exhibit any separation anxiety or and guarding habits, and she’s described as an extremely low-maintenance dog. She doesn’t know any commands yet, but she knows to take treats gently and loves a slow, calm introduction. She’s building her confidence every day! Rosie is curious when meeting new people and will quickly warn up. She gets along great with the other dog in the house and enjoys going for walks with other dogs. She also gets along well with cats and kids 8+. Her ideal partner is someone who loves to stop to smell the roses and enjoys slow strolls around the neighbourhood.
