Cuteness alert! Our little 6 lb 1.5 year old Chihuahua mix is bubbling over with potential. While teensy and timid, she has made great progress in her foster home, getting along beautifully with three other small dogs and a cat. She is submissive and takes cues from the other pups. Humans make her cautious but as she experiences more and more positive interactions, she is learning that neck scratches, belly rubs and treats make it worth being brave. She is alert and observant and when she trusts you she licks your hand. Rosie is leash and potty-trained, likes toys and chew-bones and loves her crate where she sleeps at night. Routine and structure help her feel more secure. A quiet home without children but with another small dog she can follow would be ideal to enable her to gain courage and bond with you. Adoption $400 All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc. If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
