Meet Roscoe! You know my passion is shy/fearful pups and Roscoe has touched my heart. He is 6yrs old about 45-50lbs and if he could talk I’m sure he would have stories. Roscoe was found as an older puppy covered in mange and in a ditch. He was very scared when I met him so I sat on the ground and started feeding him treats, making sure not to make eye contact. He slowly came closer and closer until he turned his whole body around, backed up and sat on my lap. Oh that was it for me I was in love! Roscoe needs a quiet home and someone who will take the time to earn his love and trust. He is crate trained and housebroken also walks fairly well on a leash. A secure fenced yard is a MUST or leash walks with a martingale collar (we will provide) or slip lead to prevent slipping his collar if spooked.
Surprisingly Roscoe is actually good with children and trusts them more than adults. He doesn't mind cats or even chickens, he has no prey drive. He could go to a household with other mellow dogs a meet and greet would be required. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.
