Intro: Hi future forever family! My name is Roscoe. I'm a hound dog and it's fun to hear what kind everyone thinks I am (fox hound, tree walker hound, coon hound). Whatever I am I am very friendly and have a huge heart. Personality: I love meeting new people! I like to be with my family and hang out but sometimes it's nice to relax alone. I love smelling all the smells especially when there are treats involved. If you've got the time to rub my ears I'll be your best friend forever. Relationship with other pets: I am easy going and I like all my furry friends. My foster mom and dad have two adult dog friends that I pal around with and I like to snuggle up with them. They do an outstanding job protecting the house from the Amazon driver and the squirrels by barking but I like to keep my bark to myself. I've seen a few cats in passing at the doctor's office and out and about but I don't pay them any attention. Ideal home: I dream of a yard that is fenced in so that I can take my time smelling all the smells. I have a lot of energy that I like to get out. I'm told I'm a very smart boy who gets adjusted to new routines very quickly. Family Fit: I get along brilliantly with people who are teenagers and older. I haven't met any people who are my size or smaller yet but my foster mom and dad think I'll do great when the time comes. I'm confident we will be fast friends. Activity Level: I like to be on the move. Want to go outside? Let's go!! Want to play with toys? Absolutely I'm down. Want to sit on the couch and take a nap? I'm your cuddle buddy. If you're doing it I want to be doing it with you. If you're wanting a loyal, loving friend to join you in all your adventures at home or out on the town I'm your guy. I'm working on my leash manners and learning the basics like sit and down. I can be an amazing addition to your family and I can't wait to start making memories together.
