My Story

This is Ros.... affectionally called "Ros Lou Who" because he is a character straight out of a Dr. Seuss book. He's funny, quirky, silly and the sweetest dog I have ever known. Ros doesn't have a mean bone in his body and is very submissive to his foster brothers. He would probably love to be with a female adoptive sister, or a sweet male, but he would prefer not to go to a home with a super alpha male who is going to take advantage of his kindness and super sweet dispostion. Ros has had a very rough start in the short 2 years he's been on this earth. From the information we were given about him from the wonderful woman who rescued him, he lived outside in a kennel enviroment with many, many other dogs. He had a dog house and dirt and that's pretty much it and he never ever had any human affection or love. Now Ros lives in the lap of luxury with his foster mom, sleeps on the bed and "usually" is pretty darn good about his potty training. He's a total cuddler and has woken me up on occasion tugging gently at the covers by my feet for some pets while his "brothers" are sleeping. He's such a sweet little boy. He's a "hairy" hairless and on the larger side for a Crested @ about 20 pounds.. but I think he's perfect:-) Because Ros was raised with little human interaction, he's VERY fearful of people he doesn't know... and he really only knows me. He needs to be in an enviroment where he can flourish and not be put in any situations that will scare him. Ros is the reason Crest-Care exsists. He has so much potential and just needs the "perfect" forever home so he can completely blossom into the awesome dog he has waiting to emerge inside of him. He walks perfectly on a leash, but he's not ready to handle any commotion around him "yet"... it's a very scary world out there and he has to learn to trust you or he wants to run from the scary stuff. A perfect home for Ros would be with a very patient, calm adult in a quiet home that has tons of love to give and who truly wants to "rescue" a lost soul with SO much love to give. If you would like to learn more about Ros Lou Who and fit the criteria for his perfect home, please feel free to e-mail his foster mom, Kellee, @ [email protected] Ros is neutered, UTD on vaccinations and microchipped. UPDATE: Ros is really coming out of his shell as of late. He's loving his new backyard and playing like a maniac!! More info can be found at Crest-Care.com
