Rookie was found wandering in the rain down a busy 4 lane road. Turns out he is quite old with many old dog issues. Thinking he wouldn't last long we've had him in a comfy foster home for the past few months.
He has made progress little by little and clearly is not ready to give up on this life. While his ailments would be expensive to fix and might not be fixible at all, we'd love to give Rookie a nice place to live out the rest of his days in comfort and with love and respect. If anyone has room in their home and their heart to help make this guys last months potentially some of his best please let me know. He is being fostered with other dogs currently and as long as they aren't too rough with him he'd be fine with other animals.
