My Story

Meet Rogue: A Bundle of Joy Awaiting His Forever Home Rogue is a spirited and affectionate pup looking for a loving family to call his own. With boundless energy and a playful spirit, he's sure to bring laughter and joy to your home. Here's what you need to know about this charming boy: Personality: High Energy: Rogue is full of life and loves to play. Affectionate: He's a big fan of giving kisses and cuddling. Sociable: Enjoys the company of humans and most dogs. Playful: He loves toys and can often be found tossing them around for his own amusement. Compatibility: Selective with Canine Friends: While good with most dogs, Rogue may not gel well with dominant males and prefers a non-aggressive companion. Feline Friendly: Rogue has a blast playing with and snuggling the cat in his foster home, showing he can be a great companion for cats as well. Not Suitable for Young Children: His tendency to jump may be too much for little ones. Training and Behavior: Attention-Seeking: Rogue is learning not to paw or jump on people for attention. Needs Training: Rogue is still learning the ropes and requires a patient owner who can provide positive reinforcement. Anxiety Issues: He may express vocal anxiety when left alone but settles down after a while. Kennel Training: He is reluctant to enter but treats help. He will occasionally bark but calms down quickly. House Trained: He has had no accidents in his foster home. Rogue is a smart cookie who's quick to learn and eager to please. He's looking for an active family that can continue his training journey and provide the structure he needs. If you're experienced in dog training and have a heart full of love, Rogue could be the perfect addition to your family. Rogue's adoption fee is $325. He is available for adoption outside our region but must complete a meet and greet (with all household members; animals and pets) in Southwest Iowa.
