July Update:
Roger has captured the hearts of all who meet him, volunteers, staff, interested adopters. Unfortunately he has not met that perfect someone yet. Roger is great with other dogs, super playful, greets everyone with a kiss and a hug if you will let him. The hugs are adorable and part of his charm but are not great doggie manners so we are trying to discourage them as hard as it is to do so. He is just so sweet and wants to get that kiss on your face to greet you even if it means standing on two legs to do it! Roger would benefit from some basic obedience and thrives when given praise so would be the star of any class. This will help him learn to keep all fours on the ground and wait for the kiss to come to him.

Due to his playful ways Roger would be a bit much for little ones in a home so we think older kids would be better suited for him if there are children in your home.

Roger seems to really enjoy playing with other dogs and would benefit from continued play dates to keep him well socialized and exercised. We think he'd do best in a home as an only dog though as he can get a bit jealous and bossy if he has to compete for your attention. He prefers to be the center of attention once leaving the playground.

Please come and meet Roger. Although he has lots of doggie pals he is a bit lonely without his partner in crime Ralph and is ready for a new life to begin with a family of his own.
