Roger is a two-year-old male who originally came to us from a shelter partner. He is a sweet and social boy, but he does have a bite history from an incident involving a new person entering his home. We have seen absolutely no aggression toward humans in any context at the rescue, and like most Pyrs, Roger will guard. Out of an abundance of caution and is our policy, we will place Roger with Pyr-experienced owners and no small children.
Roger loves everyone, and he enjoys rumpusing with the female Pyrs.
He does seem to have some minor skin sensitivity -- perhaps seasonal allergies -- that we are treating with medicated baths with good results.
