Meet Rocky. Little Rocky is an absolutely beautiful piebald long haired mini Dachshund who is looking for a new forever home. This little guy is already neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated, he is ready to go. We are told Rocky is about 6 years old, he is a house dog and he is house trained. Rocky is very shy and timid and will take some good loving and kind words to warm up to you but than he is your best friend. This poor little guy used to stay home alone for 11 hours per day while Mom was at work and that made him very sad and lonely and bored so he barked! The barking annoyed the neighbors in the apartment complex and that is how Rocky came into rescue. Rocky would love another dog to keep him company, we don't know how he is with cats nor children but I don't think he would want to live with kids under 12.. If you choose to adopt Rocky you will be asked to fill out an adoption application, allow us to conduct a home visit and sign an adoption contract. We do also request a donation of $175.
