Rocky

Rocky is wonderful 8 year old neutered male Doberman in need of a new home. As you can see Rocky is a Black and Rust Dobe and his tail, dewclaws and ears are all done. Rocky was turned in to the local shelter by his family because they were moving and couldn't take him along. We pulled him from the shelter and took him to our vet for some blood work and a check up. Rocky's thyroid is just a tad bit low and we are supplementing him now but once he attains his weight loss goals he can probably be taken off the thyroid replacement. Rocky is currently on a medication for incontinence which totally controls the problem. We don't know why he leaks while sleeping but Proin helps keep him dry all night long. When we took Rocky into rescue he weighed over 125lbs and was in desperate need of a diet, he now weighs 95.8lbs and is no longer on a diet but just maintaining his weight. Rocky is very good in the house, he mostly just lays around and follows his person from room to room and he is totally housetrained. Rocky would prefer to be an only dog and he is definitly not good with large breed male dogs. Rocky does not like children and he does not like cats. This dog would be perfect for a senior or a homebody type as he isn't very active and won't require much in the way of excercise. I do take him for walks a couple of times per week and he gets winded very quickly. This is a very affectionate dog who loves attention, to be petted and he loves to lean his head on you. UPDATE: Sadly, we had to put Rocky to sleep due to medical problems that we could not overcome.
