Meet Rocky! This BEAUTIFUL 6 week old rottweiler/lab mix puppy is Rocky! Rocky and his sister Clementine were found huddled together outside right as Hurricane Beryl was making its way through Houston. A good Samaritan took them in during the storm, and then they made their way to a high kill shelter after the storm passed. These sweet babies were terrified in the shelter, surrounded by large, loud dogs; they were the smallest and youngest in the kennels. We found them shaking and huddled together, and immediately took them into our program. Other than the typical fleas and worms that are so common with strays, they are surprisingly healthy and now very happy babies. They are now thriving in their foster home, where they are spoiled, and loved. Rocky and Clementine spend their days running around in the yard, pouncing on their 90lb. foster brother (a golden/pit mix) staring at the resident cat (and then running away crying if the cat walks towards them), attacking stuffies, taking lots of naps, cuddling with their foster mama, and eating good food.
