Hi, you can call me ROCKY!!!
I am a cute Poodle mix boy, most people tell me it is most likely a Maltese that I am mixed with
My ears are my best feature and get me lots of attention
I am 6 yrs young, I do play tough guy around strangers, but am extremely cuddly and kissy to my forever human companions. I do not like to be left all by myself for long periods of time (more than 1/2 day), so a home where someone is there to be loved by me is what I am looking for. I also enjoy ALL of the attention, so I think I want to be the only dog - I will NOT allow another doggy to share my Human's lap!! I don't know what cats are, but if they take away from my attention, I don't think I would like them either.
I am just learning about myself in my new foster home, so I will provide more information about myself asap, be sure to check back!
I almost forgot.... OK, so I am not great with the housetraining, I'm working on it, I promise!!!
Update from Rocky's Foster Mom!!!
Rocky is really catching on to the housetraining thing. No accidents in almost a week. He just needs someone who is able to be home with him to let him out every couple of hours. It will be hard for him to be by himself all day and not have an accident.
He REALLY reacts to "bad boy" said in a stern voice. Very embarrassed.
He gets along great with other dogs and they even snuggle sometimes.
He gives a paw - very cute - and now LOVES sleeping under the covers with me. He climbs out when he gets hot and comes back and stares at me when he wants back under if he gets chilly again.
He is still having troubles with trust and fear. He growls at people (especially men) who he knows when they come home from work, but then reacquaints himself quickly.
. His leg causes him no problems, he just doesn't use it all the time. He is still very active and loves walks (although he hasn't learned to use them as bathroom breaks quite yet). He just trots along at a very fast pace (but he's tiny - still 6.5 lbs - so he's certainly not tugging much).
