I am a wonderful purebred Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff). A local vet hospital contacted was going to euthanize this one year old, neutered male.f. The former owners brought him in to be euthanized because the wife was afraid of him. They had purchased him at a pet store as a young pup and he is now 130 lbs.
He has been in a temporary new home for the past week and he has been a wonderful dog. There have been no problems with him. He goes for walks twice a day. He walks and heals wells with no problem. He loves to play fetch. The former owner did say that Rocko has played with a female golden retriever & a male Dachshund. He has been playing very well with 2 female golden retrievers at his temporary home so it appears he is good with female dogs. A home with kids at least 13 years old would be best for him because of his size.
