Rocket is people friendly and outgoing but also calm and quiet. He is approximately 2 ½ years old and is believed to be a Rottweiler and hound mix. He is a SURVIVOR!
He was abandoned in mid-2022, but with lots of medical intervention and care from Mercer Humane he is a healthy boy and ready for a loving home.
Due to his past, Rocket would do best in a home without other dogs or cats. Patience, understanding, compassion, and love are what Rocket needs most as he may have hidden long-term issues based on being abandoned. Rocket has had his preliminary vaccines, is neutered, and microchipped.

All meet & greets would need to be by appointment only as Dogs in our care are kept on a private farm in northern Mercer County and NOT at the Mercer Humane office on Eminence Ave.
