Have you been looking for your very own pocket-sized ball of sassy fun? We have just the dog for you—Rocco!. He is a Chihuahua/terrier mix that is extremely sight impaired. He appears to be able to see shadows/light, but otherwise is pretty much blind. So he will need some help learning a new environment once adopted, but when he came into his foster home, he picked up the layout and stairs very quickly with very minimal help. He already knows sit and loves to snuggle on the couch with you, especially if you are good at belly rubs—those are his favorite. ? Since being in his foster home, he appears to be crate and house trained and loves to go for short walks around the neighborhood taking in all the sounds and smells. He also enjoys going for car rides too. He lives in a home with other larger dogs, but he definitely lets them know that he is in charge—he is a Chihuahua after all. So with appropriate intros, he would likely do ok with other dogs in the home, or he could also be the only dog as well. Rocco is looking for a forever family that will give him a happily ever after in his last chapters in life—?but don't worry this guy has a lot of miles left in the tank?. He is already neutered, recently had a dental cleaning, current on vaccines and is microchipped, Rocco is about 12 years old and 20-25lbs.
