Rocco

Rocco is a male Terrier/Wire-haired Pointing Griffon mix and is approximately 8 to 9 years old. He looks like a large dog but he only weighs 45 pounds. After 5 years he was returned for getting out of a fence. He led a very lonely sort of life in the fence all by himself and just wanted company and affection. Since he has been living at his foster home he has not tried to jump the fence even once, but here he has other doggie friends to play with and someone to pet him.

He loves to play with other dogs and was a wonderful big brother to 9-week-old and 10 month old puppies. When he played with the pups he had as much energy as they did. He would lie down to wrestle with them and was very gentle. You would never guess Rocco's age by watching him play and run and jump. He acts more like a 2 year old and is very agile.

He is a very adorable dog and loves to give kisses. Rocco is crate trained and housebroken. He would love to be an indoor dog with a family and, hopefully, a companion dog to romp with and, of course, a fenced yard, as he is active.

PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at Petsmart in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia).
