River was brought in with his sister, Gracie, from a police station in a neighboring city. The two of them were previously with an owner in a hoarding situation where the owner had too many dogs, so Gracie and River were taken away. They both were set to be euthanized if they did not find placement, so we took them in. They are both very sweet and gentle, they like going on walks and they would be okay going to separate homes as long as there is another dog in the home.
