Rita

Rita is a beautiful, soft coated 7 yr old (June 2nd was her birthday) spayed female Husky/Shepherd cross. She weighs approximately 60-65lbs. Rita prefers to be around male dogs. She is sometimes dominant with other femaies. She loves to chase water and toys. She is crate trained, and bonds very well with her person. She knows 'sit' , 'down' and 'heel' commands and learns very quickly. Rita gets very anxious around toddlers and would be happiest in a home with adults or possibly teens.

Rita is a very smart girl and would make a great companion to a person who likes to spend time running, hiking or doing outdoor activities with their dog. She loves to go to the beach and she LOVES to run like the wind!

Adoption Process: We are not first come first served. Indigo Rescue focuses on finding good matches between dogs and families to ensure life long adoptions. We deliver all dogs to their new homes.

All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have adoption events at the Beaverton PetSmart every other Saturday where you can meet many of our dogs at once. Click Here for our Calendar of Events. What changes in your life are likely in the next 10+ years (or life span of the dog) and how will the changes affect the dog? (moving, job or schedule change, school, having children)
