RipTide

Rip (short for RipTide) is a very sweet loving boy who just desperately wants to be loved!! Rip is a loyal and low maintenance senior boy who craves attention and love. He is in search of his BFF. He wants to be pet and loves to loves to snuggle with his person. He will follow his human everywhere restroom included LOL. He absolutely loves walkies and is very curious about every scent along the way. He does not react to other dogs and does well with small dogs at home minding his own business throughout the day. Rip knows "sit" and "down" commands and takes treat oh so very gently. He is house trained. He could use a little leash work as when he's exploring he tends to pull a little. He would do well in an active adult-only home who can take him on multiple short walks a day since that's the highlight of his day! He prefers to sleep with you but will also sleep on floor. Rip does not do well being confined to a crate but can be left home in the house with no issues. Bath and groomers and not his favorite activities but he’s learning and doing better. Rip also does not like to be picked up but will happily follow his person anywhere. Rip is ready to love you if you are ready to love him!! Rip has been through a lot and is looking for someone who loves him and spends time with him. He would love to be in an adult-only home with or without another pup. Most of all, Rip just wants to love and be loved! Rip is a bichon, located in San Diego CA. He is 30 lbs and ~9 years old and does not shed. He is neutered, current on vaccines and microchipped.
