Such a sweet face! Rio was a stray picked up by Animal Control and rescued by CARES when her time was up. She was quite scared being chased by strangers, so it took them about a week to catch her. Poor baby! She is a medium size dog at about 45# and is young at about 18 months.
Rio is crate trained and good with other dogs and cats and kids, although we do not recommend her for small children. She doesn't like being manhandled by strangers. She loves toys of all kinds. She'll play fetch or just play by herself. She would love a home to cherish her and play with her and just love her forever.
Rio is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Men can sometimes scare her, so a very dominant man may not be appropriate for her either. She just loves everybody.
Who going to be the lucky famiy to give Rio a forever home?
