I was found with critical, life threatening injuries after being hit by a car. I was rushed to the Emergency vet. At first I couldn't close my left eye, I couldn't eat or drink and it seemed as though all odds were against me. Nobody knew if I was going to make it. After multiple days I slowly came around. Days went by and I finally was able to sit up and drink. I slowly gained my strength back. On day 3 I stood up, it was a miracle! Day 4, I was eating, from then on I was able to go to my foster to begin my long recovery. However, there was more to come. I had been shot at some point along with having a fractured shoulder. I had to endure 8 long weeks of strict kennel rest to heal. I now walk without a limp! However, I do have nerve damage on my left side of my face from being hit by a car. This prevents me from being able to blink my left eye requiring me to need eye drops, but that's not going to keep me down! I love going on walks and carrying soft toys in my mouth wherever I go. If you love cuddling as much as do we will be the best of friends! My biggest wish is to find a home that is going to love me and keep me forever. *AHCR cannot guarantee any breed/possible breed of the dogs in our care or the size they will be full grown. All of our animals are fixed, microchipped, started on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and on a flea/tick and heart worm preventative prior to adoption.
