My Story

Rex was turned into the Calhoun County Humane Society after hurricane Ike. His family lost their home and had to relocate. Unfortunately, they decided not to take the family pet with them, so he was turned into the shelter.

Rex is a 8-months old 70 Lb. Brindle Boxer/American Bulldog mix. He is very sweet and loving. The shelter staff and volunteers did not want to see him get euthanized, so they begged for a rescue to take him.

Rex is now with PAWS of Austin awaiting a new loving home. He will make a great family pet. He loves to play with other dogs and he is GREAT with kids. You will not find a sweeter, more loving dog.

Rex is very loving and playful. He knows sit and he plays fetch. He will also talk to you when he brings back the ball. He needs to go to a home with another dog(s), so he will have someone to play with.

If you're interested in having a great family pet, Rex is it. Please fill out the adoption application on our website: http://www.pawsofaustin.org/
