Reuger

Reuger is a handsome 9 year old "red" Golden Retriever. Reuger was born July 19, 2001 and has been well cared for until recently. Reuger has had to spend the last few years living outdoors without a lot of attention or care from his family. Reguer received an extreme makeover. He was bathed, groomed had his nails clipped and teeth cleaned. He also had one tooth pulled while he was being neutered. Reuger weighs 71 pounds. Reuger may be 9 years old, but he acts more like a pup. He is in great physical shape and is healthy. He is full of energy and needs a family that has the time to work on re-teaching him his basic commands, leash training and house manners. Reuger is presently living in a foster home with three adults, one female Blue Heeler and 3 cats. He is learning that it is not okay to chase the cats. Reuger does spend time outdoors during the day while his foster family is working, but comes inside just as soon as they come home. Reuger is full of energy and needs to have a secure fenced yard that is large enough to provide him space to run and play and be safe. Reuger also needs a family that can exercise him daily and keep him physically fit, happy and tired. Reuger does not want to be a full-time outdoor dog living in a kennel.
