Reuben

Ruben is currently in a foster home so be sure to mention that on your adoption application. Here is an update we got from Ruben’s foster home. First off, as you can plainly see, he's thoroughly adorable. But that’s obvious, and we knew that already. #2 He’s a guy. A true blue through and through guy. He likes to be dirty, he's a bit stubborn, he's clumsy and honestly a little awkward. Definitely not a fan of getting his bath, but..he got through it, and we even used the blow dryer a little to speed up the drying process. He wasnt a huge fan, but once sniffed, we were permitted to proceed. #3 He has more energy than expected. I don't really have dog toys anymore.but I ordered a bunch because, well, Ruben said so. # 4 He loves people. Kids, men, women, aliens.. he loves you. He's taken a particular liking to my 15 yo son. #5 He doesn't seem to mind cats. I think he knows that it's a dogs world because it appears he could care less! Little sniff, and he was a moving on!. #6 He learned the doggy door swings both ways! He let's himself out AND back in.. all by himself now! Go Ruben! #7 He is potty trained!! Apart from being a little sick early on day 2, we have had ZERO ACCIDENTS. He is a GOOD BOY! #8 He’s a quiet boy. Since arriving here nobody in my house has heard him bark. At all. Today when my son came home, there was a noise he created.. like a practice beginning of I want to bark, but.. nope must have just changed his mind. #9 He likes to go under the blankets. At first just a little, then a little more, until finally, he disappears completely. What's left is a fairly circular, breathing, snoring, bump of love in the blankets. #10 He's an adorable goofy clown dog. Who wouldn't love his big ole blockhead and handsome face? Boops for his cute button nose too!
