Rescue Buddy

Grampa Buddy, Neutered Male, Beagle Buddy is a very old guy - we have nicknamed him Grampa Buddy. He is about 14 years old, with bad eyes but the sparkle is still there! He is housebroken and good with other dogs. He is currently sharing a kennel with Spice in #36. They both love the company and get along quite well. Volunteers For Animals periodically pulls dogs for other shelters in need of moving animals to avoid euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals. We are able to do this through the generosity of many people such as the originating shelter staff, transporters, foster volunteers and others who help with pulling fees, vet bills and finding good homes once they are here. The adoption process includes an application that is completed by the potential owner. If there are multiple applications on the same animal, the animal will go to the best home for that particular animal - not necessarily the first application.
