REMY GIRL

************************************************************************************ “She is the sweetest girl, goofy personality and loves cuddles.” ************************************************************************************ REMY is half Doberman and half Labradoodle. Her dad was a pure dobie and her mother a curly labradoodle. Her ears & tail have not been touched and are intact. She will be 2 years old in October, and weighs about 60 lbs. This lovely young lady is being surrendered due to a divorce, and the mother having to manage 2 young children on her own and also 2 jobs! She loves Remy enough to find a good home, instead of giving her away to just anyone who will take her. This girl is super affectionate and is a huge cuddle bug! At the same time, she is protective of mom and girls. She is great with dogs of all sizes (and also cats)!!! She is good with kids of all ages - infants and toddlers. And while we don’t recommend it for any dog, the 1 year old lays and crawls all over Remy, and Remy lets her. They love to lay and sleep together. Remy loves her people!!! Remy’s overall energy level is a 7, on a 1-10 scale. She’s pretty calm inside, but once you mention walks or park, she’s a big ball of energy! She likes to be by or touching her person pretty much any time they are around. And since we mentioned walks, she had been accustomed to a daily mile walk, and also playtime in a big backyard. Remy is both house and crate trained. When home alone, she is crated, and does well. She sleeps in the room with her people at night. She is fabulous in the car. Miss Remy is perfect in the eyes of those who love her, and maybe not for someone who wants a generically perfect dog. In all transparency, Remy does tinkle when excited (like when you grab a leash). There are meds that may be able to help, but also consistent practice to build/maintain a calm state for her while holding the leash and placing it on her, can make a substantial difference over time. Remy is also a hardcore chewer, meaning none of her toys last more than an hour (except for a bone recently purchased from amazon). Please note she typically doesn’t chew on anything she isn’t supposed to chew on (unless it’s some plush toy that was left out). Overall, this girl is not just a dog. She is a part of the family with her perfections & imperfections. She does not have any anxieties, and does not resource guard or have any behavioral concerns. Again, no resource guarding, however if there is another dog who does not eat everything on their plate, she won’t hesitate to help herself to whatever seems to have been abandoned.
