Reggie

This is a special little guy...need someone to be VERY patient and understand it will take time....but once "Reggie" feels comfortable in your world-He will be your BEST friend forever. Reggie is a unique case that needs a dog savvy home with a person(s) that has time, patience and compassion. Reggie is an 8 year old male Chihuahua mix, weighs about 15 pounds that came to our rescue because they couldn’t care for him right anymore. Sleeping on the back of a couch, playing with toys or chasing the sunny spot to lay in are his favorite things to do. He does walk on a leash and rides well in a car. The thing with Reggie is he afraid when meeting new people. After a couple of times and treats he then relaxes enough that he will become your best friend. Snuggling on the couch and giving kisses. Reggie does not like excitement. So if your running because someone yelled your name he will nip the back of your leg. We feel what would work best for him is a quiet home with no children and low activity. We will need to do a few meet and greets and home visits with him. Once he trusts you you will see what an absolute love he is. He needs to be an only pet-no other dogs or cats.
