Red

Meet Red. Red is a beautiful four year old red/rust natural eared Doberman who is looking for a new forever home. Red came to us from a kill shelter in Yucca Valley California. The shelter contacted us because they were having no luck getting Red adopted and his days were very numbered. The shelter staff had become very fond of Red because of his pleasant easy going personality and they were going to do everything to save his life. The Yucca Valley shelter contacted LVDDR and asked us to help and we swung into motion. LVDDR asked for help from a wonderful group of pilots called Pilots for Paws. An amazing hero of a pilot named Fabion from Henderson NV volunteered to fly to Yucca Valley and pick up Red and bring him back to Vegas for us. The wonderful shelter staff took Red to the airport for his rescue flight but once there they realized the crate was much to large to fit into the plane! The pilot straped Red in with seat belts and flew to Vegas, Red was a champ and slept through the whole flight. The special boy is so gentle and laid back, he is going to make one heck of a companion for some lucky adopter. We are told that Red does best with female dogs, not so much with males. Red has had all of his vaccines and he is neutered and ready to go to his new home.
